University & Student Banking

Dwelling House is a community oriented bank. We believe that investing in the community through education is one of the greatest gifts. That is why we encourage schools to have their students open a bank account at our institution. By teaching children how to save their money, you open a window of possibilities for their life. Today’s youth can establish sound financial practices-- such as maintaining savings accounts and learning good credit practices in borrowing and repaying loan requirements.  Starting at an early age is key. With a combined savings, loan, and counseling approach, DHSL offers the right mix of knowledge and products applicable to today’s youth. DHSL encourages all customers to build a savings account.

If you would like to schedule a time for one of our staff to perform an interactive workshop, or schedule a class visit our office, contact us today.

Incarcerated Persons Savings Accounts

Dwelling House is an organization strongly committed to furthering a sense of hope in the region. It is important to our organization to inspire those around us in any way possible. Our Incarcerated Persons Savings Account program allows us to connect to individuals in unfortunate circumstances who still wish to prepare for the future.

Some restrictions exist with these accounts. Incarcerated persons may bank only by mail.
